I'm eating a GIANT Langostino.
My name is Steve_S and I’m the jack of all trades and head GEEK
for Published Perfection. I launched my first Web Site in 1998. YIKES! Things have sure changed. I have exstensive technology teaching experience at the College level, with Trade Schools, and Corporations. I learned and taught DTP (Desktop Publishing) and all things Web related. Iv’e co-authored a book or two and formerly wrote a Windows column for a Canadian Publication.
My design philosophy for WordPress Themes is somewhat pragmatic sprinkled with a touch of flair. The Theme has to be functional first. This means that any design must support Plugins and advertising. You will see this with our Themes. A generous width to the Sidebar, a wide page, and plenty of testing to insure that every Theme we sell actually works with Plugins. Our presentation on this Blog
supports this guiding principal.
Plenty of sites sell Themes but very view permit you to actually use these Themes with Plugins. Lot’s of Plugins are installed on this site and we have plenty of Pages and Posts so you can actually see and use our Themes in a real world setting.
My WordPress training is confined to the Las Vegas area unless you want to pay my travel costs. I am passionate about teaching and often learn from my students. My course will focus on an introduction to WordPress, getting started, hosting, plugins, editorial considerations, and other “Newbie” topics. I use a hands on real world approach to teaching. On a real site inside the WordPress Dashboard. Thats when I’m most happy. I’m really not qualified to teach coding, editing styles, and hacking .php files. Although it’s gratifying to do this stuff, it’s not playing to my strengths which simply stated is taking very complex technical subjects and delivering them in an easy to understand and ”plain speak” method.
